Downgrade Rules
Downgrading never deletes chess progress, repertoire history, review items, rewards, or opening unlocks. If a Pro member has more than two active openings, the account must choose up to two active openings for Free; all other data remains preserved. If a Pro member has a Daily target above five, the stored preference may be retained but the effective Free limit becomes five until Pro is restored. Review items above the Free daily allowance remain queued rather than being discarded.
Daily allowances reset at midnight in the account’s saved time zone. Abandoned or failed Tempo sessions do not consume a completion. Battery is counted only when a learner-delivered continuation checkmate is verified. Review has its own separate allowance. Reaching one allowance does not remove access to remaining Free activities.
Final Onboarding Paywall
The paywall is the final onboarding step and must present Free and Pro as genuine choices.
